Monmouth County had a good month in residential home sales. in March. Active listing were up a smidge but new listing were down 23%. Sales volume is down 13%. It still remains a tight inventory and buyers demand remains strong. The the pace of sales measured in months of inventory declined for the 4th straight month with 1.59 months of inventory. When inventory is this low you will see continued price growth in housing. The market really woke up in January and we are just starting to see that in closed sales data.
